I got the message nt\authority will shutdown in 30 seconds.
I disabled the system restore and restarted the machine
and ran the fixblast.exe virus removal tool but it still
did not find the virus. I don't know if it is the rpc
host or the sasser.

Please advise?

Hi

Have a look at the following two links to see if they help:

Hey. I am getting the same error. This happened on Window
2000. So i formatted the disk and installed window XP.
The error is still there. It cannot be due to virus as i
completly formatted the disk. Not sure what causes the NT
Authority/System to shut down the computer. I send a
email to MS Windows. Waiting for their reply.
