Hi Chris,
To enable the XP style shutdown screen, Welcome Screen & Fast user switching
need to be enabled.
Click Start, click Control Panel, and then click User Accounts.
Click Change the way users log on or off.
If it is not already selected, click to select the Use the Welcome screen
check box.
NOTE: The Use Fast User Switching check box is unavailable until you click
to select the Use the Welcome screen check box.
Click to select the Use Fast User Switching check box, and then click Apply
Options. Quit the User Accounts tool.
If this does not help, use MVP Doug Knox's utility to fix the GINA.

[Fix Logon/Restore Welcome Screen]. This should reset the default GINA in
registry.

Originally on my shutdown screen I had
Restart/Shutdown/Log Off 3D Buttons now I have some
server like pull down menu that I have to select
Resart/Shut down/Log Off from and I Don't know where it
came from....I want the old style back
Any Help?
