Shutdown / Restart

When i choose to shutdown my computer, it goes through
the normal process of shutting down, but instead of
displaying "it is now safe to turn off your computer" it
automaticaly restarts, hoe do i fix this problem??

after you click sut down the box appears and asks you

what you want to do? you need to click the shut down
option instead of the restart option.
