Hi,
I recently tried enabling the Shutdown Event Tracker option on my XP Pro. I
went to the the registry
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Reliability
and changed shutdownreasonUI to 1
when i go to Event Viewer, it now logs categories 1074 which describes the
shutdown/reboots.
However, when i shutdown/reboot, it doesn't give me the option to enter a
"Reason". it logs, but it doesn't show the dialogue box that i think is
supposed to show up.
Does anyone know what i'm doing wrong?
Thanks
