Hi Kristy,
The biggest possibility is that it is part of Downloadware, which has also
been know to cause this error message. Running Ad-aware (
www.lavasoft.de)
may help if it is not listed in add/remove in the Control Panel. This page

DW.exe is also the name of an MS utility included with IE6. It is used for
error reporting. See this article about what it is and how to disable the

It is also included with OfficeXP.
On another note, it could also be symptomatic of a viral infection. This
