Shut down problem

Everytime I am connected to the net my computer shuts
down web sites but stays connected to internet. I have
tried to download windows service pack SP1 and it
downoaded for the 2 1/2 hours then as it was installing
it, it shut down the site on me. It has done this twice
while downloading the update. Do I have a virus or
something? I don't know alot about computers but I know
it shouldn't be doing this. Everytime it does it a
message box appears and says to send info to microsoft
and I send it then it shuts it down. Thanks for your time.

Have you scanned your pc at all to just check to
see if you do have a virus, do you have a virus software
installed on oyur pc.
