SHUT DOWN OPTIONS

Hi There

I dont know whether i am in the right part of the newsgroups for this
question.

However, when i shut down my computer still asks me to switch off manually
instead of doing so automatically like all my other computers. There is no
difference between them either. all run off XP.

Is there a setting i can change so this happens automatically?

Go to Control Panel | Power Options. Is there an APM tab? If so select
that tab and enable APM support.
