Shut Down from a Program

I need to shut down a Windows 2000 computer from a
program. When the operator pushs a button on the screen I
want to stop the two programs the are running and then
initate a shutdown of the system. Any thoughts on how to
do this.

Create a shortcut to shutdown.exe, then place this shortcut
into the Quick Launch Bar. "shutdown.exe" comes with the
Win2000 Resource Kit. You could also use shutdown2.exe
from http://groups.yahoo.com/group/WinTips-Tricks/.

to find the file - or maybe I´ll have to d/l WRK in total?
