Shut Down Error

When I shut down winXp i get a message "not responding
end now" Why ? How do I fix it ? I tried everything in
the knowledge base but nothing has worked yet . I also
did a disc check etc but ....

Also you can use " Force " to close the program which is not closing
properly. ( This option should solve the need to click shutdown twice. Be
sure to save any data as this force closes all running programs )
