shrinking movie for web

i created a movie that is 20mins long and 1 gig in size. how can i shrink the
video, save it to my harddrive, so i can ftp it over to a web server? I
assume the quality will go down and the viewing size will shrink as well and
i dont have a problem with that. i just don't know how to do it with movie
marker or nero express....

After the window in which you enter the file name and location you get the
file type choice, click on show more choices and select other settings, then
pick one of the choices which gives you the best compression/size for your
needs
