I have #Value! in a cell with no data

I put the below formula in to ask the cell to be blank

What is needed for it to work please.

=IF(ISERROR(VALUE(LEFT($F$6,1))),VALUE(LEFT($F$6,1)))

=IF(ISERROR(VALUE(LEFT($F$6,1))),"",VALUE(LEFT($F$6,1)))
