I am using Word2000, and I cannot get grid lines to show when printing
labels. I have gone into tables and checked "show gridlines", and I
have setup the "tools/labels" menu with the proper label number, etc..

Any guidance greatly appreciated.

TIA

Millard,

Gridlines never print. They just represent the borders that aren't there.
You will need to apply borders if you want lines to print.
Format>Borderders and Shading>All.

I'm sorry, I didn't make myself clear. I wanted the gridlines on my
screen so I could setup the label(s) as I wanted.

Table, Gridlines should work. But try Tools, Options, View tab and select
the Text Boundaries option.
