showing graphics in powerpoint

I have a powerpoint presentation in which I inserted some
pictures in a few of the slides. the pictures appear when
I look at the slides in outline view but do not show up
when I look at the presentation in slide view. Any ideas
as to what is causing this?

First thing to try is changing hardware acceleration.

If that doesn't work, holler back and mention which version of PPT and
if you've set any animation on those images, and how you inserted the
pictures and what type of pictures they are (JPG, PNG, TIF, etc.)
