show desktop icon & outlokk

Everytime I have Outlook open and clikc on the 'show desktop' icon, Outlook
close and I am then at the desktop screen. This does not happen with any
other open program just Outlook. Has anyone else experienced this and more
importantly has a fix for it? thanks
 
This may be an issue with Outlook. You should post your problem to an Outlook
newsgroup and be sure to mention which version you're running, e.g.,
OL97,98,2000, 2002,2003, or 2007.
