show bitmap object in .rtf report

When I create an report using .rtf format, the embedded bitmap doesn't appear.
Preview or Snapshot does show it. Is there anyway to make it appear in the
..rtf file?
 
If you want the RTF to be updatable, other than using Automation to invoke
Word and do it all yourself, no.
