I have lost the ability to display panel control properties. I have tested
this on a couple of Microsoft data bases with the same result. I have even
uninstalled and installed Microsoft Office 2003 without resolving the
problem. Double clicking the form property button (intersection of rulers)
doesn't work. Properties on the table object works fine in the same data
base. I have played with some of the Startup options and toolbar options,
but didn't see the one that affected this. The properties button does go on
and off as properties option for the control is selected. Thank you for any
help you can give me.

Hi Eugene

Because the Properties window is modal, it can be positioned outside your
main Access window - even off the screen. Try this to get it back:

On the form design toolbar, click the button to hide the properties window
and then click it again to display it. That will guarantee that it has the
focus. Then press <Alt-Space> to activate the window's control menu,
followed by <M> for Move. You should then be able to use the arrow keys to
move it around until it is back in view. I think after clicking one arrow
key, the mouse locks onto it in "move mode", so you can then move the mouse
(without clicking) until it's back where you want it.
