Should I move from OE to OL2003?

I have upgraded from ME to XP and am about to install Office 2003 in place of
Works.
I understand that OL 2003 will be installed as part of Office 2003 but,
having read several posts, am not at all sure I need/want to replace OE. I
have two users on XP and we use OE for simple email which it does reliably. I
have no real need for calendaring etc.
I'd appreciate opinions on whether I should move to Outlook 2003.
Also, is it unavoidable when I move to Office 2003?
Thanks

If it ain't broke, don't fix it! If you have no need for the additional
functionality of Outlook over OE (calendar, tasks, journaling) then don't
bother with it.

It doesn't have to be. You can deselect it if you choose.

Installing Outlook in no way replaces OE. You can use either or both.

If all you need to do is done by OE, don't install OL.

Of course not.

Many thanks folks. I'll stay with OE.
