Should I just stick with Stored Procedures and forget about Filters?

I have had several problems using filters, overtime I completely avoid using them. I now use Stored Procedures for everything. Has anyone else done the same?

1. Forms getting server filters suck on the previous filter
2. Client side filters are slow
3. Orderby not working
4. Filters wont work when SQL orderby is specified with [table.feild]
