How do I get rid of the popup that says "new program installed" within
the start menu every time I open it even though that p[rogram was
installed days ago. Every time I go to the start icon on bottom for
looking into my programs to check or open anything that balloon pops
up saying that. Nick

Go to start menu up to search files and folders and on

left side where search companion is click change
preferences. You can kill ballon tips there.

Hi Nick,

Right click the Start Button/Properties/Customize/Advanced/Uncheck Highlight
newly installed programs.
