shorten or customize the font drop-down list

How can I shorten the font drop-down list? I don't like to scroll down all
the time to find the one I want to use. I prefer to see only the ones I pick
to be there (and not just "recently used"). Right now I am still using
Office 2003. Thanks in advance.
 
The font list displays all the currently installed fonts. If you want to
restrict the list you will need to use font management software.
