i found two shortcuts on my machine that lead to internet
pornography and it also created itself a network
connection. How do I stp this from happening and who do I
report the pornography to?

This even hit television news last night. You probably have been hijacked
by one of these sites, which is using your computer to send out their
"stuff"; guess whose door gets knocked on by the law, though? Saw on the
news story and have read on NG's to:
1) Get Adaware or similar program to clean it up
2)Activate a firewall which will alert you about impending invasions.

Anyone else with more specifics please post as this is obviously too general
but is a start.
