Shortcuts not functioning

Desktop shortcuts I have created to websites do not function. The error
message says that there are no file associations for the shortcut.

Also hotlinks in emails will not function and require a copy and paste.

Does anyone have suggestions?...thank you

Hi Greggomano,

Click Start/Run and type:
regsvr32 /i shdocvw.dll

-and-

Open Internet Options, Programs tab
Click Reset Web Settings button.

If that does not help, apply the URL association fix from here:

Thanks for the feedback, Greggomano. Changing the default web browsers usually corrupts the file associations.
