Dan

I use remote Assistance a lot. I am tired of having to
click on Help then Tools the Offer Remote Assistance.
ANy one know how I can make a shortcut on my Desktop to
go directly to the Offer Remote Assistance page?

Thanks in advance,
Dan

Dan ;
Try this:
Click on Help then Tools and right click Offer Remote Assistance.
Click Send To and click Desktop (Create Shortcut)

Hi Dan. I was able to create a shortcut from the Help and
Support Center window.

1. Go to START, then "Help and Support" (window opens).
2. From "Ask for assistance" section, select "Invite a
friend..." (window change occurs).
3. From "Support" (left column), right-click-hold and
drag "Ask a friend to help" onto desktop (pop-up menu
appears).
4. Select "Create Shortcuts Here" (shortcut created).
5. Dble-click on shortcut and "Remote Assistance" window
appears.

Good luck. Hope this is what you're referring to. Later.

A shortcut to "offer remote assistance" is different than "ask for remote assistance" I believe the hyperlinks under support are different than the hyperlinks under "support" are different than hyperlinks under "tools" which is where "offer" is located
I get an address error when I build the shortcut to "offer
I need one that works for "offer"

hcp://CN=Microsoft%20Corporation,L=Redmond,S=Washington,C=US/Remote%20Assistance/Escalation/Unsolicited/unsolicitedrcui.ht

This is what the shortcut should look like to "offer remote assistance

I built mine by going to Help desk & support /pick a task/then "use tools", then on the left under tools, drag the icon for offere remote assistance to the desktop. However you are not done yet, go into the shortcuts properties an remove this part of the shortcut and leave the remainder

drop this "hcp://services/centers/support?topic=
keep this "hcp://CN=Microsoft%20Corporation,L=Redmond,S=Washington,C=US/Remote%20Assistance/Escalation/Unsolicited/unsolicitedrcui.htm"
