Hi, Is there a way to quickly disabl;e the screensaver with one click
only--creating a shortcut or macro for example, etc?
I need to be able to "toggle" on and off.
Tx a lot,
S

Kelly,
Tx.
Before I download and install it, HOW do I actually use it?
I mean, once installed (imported into registry) how do I toggle off and on?
Tx,
S

That does not toggle. Kelly has seperate scripts, one for enabling and one for disabling.

Try this one, if you want a toggle.

Hi,

It is a vbscript. Place it on your desktop or Quick Launch bar and enable
or disable. Redownload the toggle on line 51.

What do you mean by "disable"? If you want it to not to load at all while
the system is busy doing something else, see Kelly's scripts. Double click
the disable script to stop the screensaver from kicking in at all. Double
click the enable script to start it up again.

If on the other hand, you are wanting to eliminate the need to type in a
password after ending end the screensaver, you can change this requirement
in your display properties.

Right click the desktop and select Properties. Click the tab for the
Screensaver page. Uncheck the box next to the option: On resume, require
password. Click OK. Now when you want to end the screensaver, just click
the mouse or tap a key on the keyboard.

Tx for the replies.
I will look into it further.
