Shortcut key

My forward slash key I believe is acting like a shortcut
key. When in a table and I push it, it highlights the
file menu. I cannot put a forward slash into my tables.
It does not show any shortcut keys through. I would
appreciate any help as I don't want to mess things up.

To remove it, tools>options>transition and clean out the menu key box

The forward slash key is a shortcut key to move focus to the menu. It
should only act like that if it's the first character you type. Preface it
with a text qualifier apostrophe ( '/ ), and it should appear as the first
character in a cell.
