does someone know if there is a Keyboard shortcut key (Windows XP SP2) to
make to monitor enter energy saving mode?

This command will force your computer to go into Stand by mode

%windir%\System32\rundll32.exe powrprof.dll,SetSuspendState

Then in your shortcut you can create your own keyboard shortcut.
