I have two machines having the same problem. One is running XP Professional
and the other Win98. The problem is that any shortcut with a command line
option will not work. Most of the time nothing happens, sometimes the
application tries to run but cannot understand the command line options. As
an example, something as easy as a Windows Explorer shortcut will work with
no options, but if I add /n then nothing happens when I try the shortcut.
I've run two different spyware applications and deleted some minor stuff and
also scanned for viruses with Norton Anti-virus and Trend Micros online
virus scan.
Any help greatly appreciated!
