Imagine I have a 2 collumn table in excel consisting of 100 student'
names and their test scores in the next collumn. What I'm trying t
achieve is to place (at another location on the sheet) a list of sa
the top 10 students and their scores in descending order. I have trie
using Rank but this seems to result in problems when two students hav
the same score because then the are afforded the same rank number. Whe
I then use a VLookup using the Rank numbers it cannot cope with th
fact that there are two with the same rank and the next rank number i
ommitted.
Does anyone know of an easier way to achieve this. (Version is Exce
2000)
