I have just found this small application which will let you view all installed shell extensions. It will also allow you to disable/enable them when you need to (perhaps for troubleshooting purposes, if you need to eliminate a "culprit" which might be causing Windows Explorer crashes, etc.)
The experts here, will probably know other ways of doing this, but I thought it might be useful and simple for anyone who is not so knowledgeable or confident.
This app is only 48 kb, is freeware, and will work with XP and Vista (also older systems 98/ME/2000.)
