I'm having a sharing problem. First, XP Pro PC's (18),
Win 2000(15), Win NT 4.0(11), Win 98(5) with Win2000
Server(AD) networked, with a domain in place, and using
DHCP. The network/Domain is working fine. I Can see all
PC's and Printers. On the XP Pro PC's, the Firewall is
not on, and Simple file sharing is off. Just can't change
the permissions on the share on the XP PC to domain
users. All I get when I try to "add" domain users is just
the local users, I can't see the domain users in the
permission window. All I see on the "Select Users or
Group" window in the "from this location" is that PC. I
have tried it on all the other XP Pro PC's and they are
all the same. The Win 2000 PC's, Win NT and Win98 all
work fine as far as sharing. So, my question is: What is
not set right on the XP PC's?
