I'm trying to enable both computers on my home network to
share a laser printer. Shared printing has been enabled
on the computer to which the printer is connected and ms
firewall has been disabled. When trying to add the
shared printer on the 2nd computer, if trying to 'browse
for a printer', that printer is not shown as being
available in the 'shared printers' list. If trying
to 'connect to this printer' by typing the printer name,
an error message to the effect that the printer has lost
its connection to the network.
The process seems simple enough, but for some reason, the
printer does not seem known to the 2nd computer. Am open
to any ideas or suggestions.
