Sharing Outlook w/o Exhange... Is it possible?

Is it possible to store my Outlook information (specifically the Calendar
module and the appointment information) in a centralized folder so that
every workstation with Outlook can look in that folder? All the 'reliable'
options charge a licence/user which makes it very costly in the long run.
Although I found in most artcicles that there is no simple way of
accomplishing this, I did find one that mentioned that Office Internet
Free/Busy (IOFB) is a possible solution.

Anyone have any information about about any possible solutions?

Thanks.

That's where I got the info on not being able to share folders in
outlook 2002 and above.

Not using Netfolders, no. You need third party stuff.
Another article did mention Office Internet Free/Busy (IOFB) as a
possible alternative. Is this true or did misinterpret the article?
It's http://office.microsoft.com/en-au/assistance/ha011477571033.aspx

That won't really let you share everything, AFAIK.

You might look into hosted Exchange, as an alternative.

There are also some alternate store providers that share without Exchange
such as OLFolders, PublicShareFolder and WorkGroupShare. They seem to work
pretty well in my tests here.
