Facts:
Exchange 2K on Windows 2K.
Clients Running XP Pro with Office 2002 using Outlook.
How can a user give another user "editor" permissions to their Contacts
subfolders. I had no problems setting it so they could see the main Contacts,
even was able to set the permissions on the subfolders themselves. So on the
other users Outlook, he can still only see the main contacts. What am I
missing?

An answer in the positive would be great!

Thanks!

To access a shared folder that isn't one of the folders listed on the File | Open | Other User's Folder dialog, the mailbox owner needs to grant Reviewer permission to the root of the mailbox, as well as appropriate permission on the folder.

The user who needs access then goes into Tools | E-mail Accounts or Tools | Services (depending on the Outlook version), brings up the properties for the Exchange Server service, and on the Advanced tab, adds the mailbox.

For more information on folder permissions, with how-to screen shots, see http://www.howto-outlook.com/howto/permissions.htm and http://office.microsoft.com/assistance/preview.aspx?AssetID=HA011134811033

Fantastic! I am sure this is what I was looking for. I'll be out on site Wed.
4/27 to try this out.
