sharing folders

I am having toruble sharing a particular folder. I have
two computers netwoked up with a direct cable through
each's netword card.

All the other folders that are shared are viewable on the
other computer, but this one folder that I need it not
viewable despite being shared. Can anyone suggest a
possible reason why this might be so?

Windows restricts sharing of certain folders such as
system folders for obvious security reasons. Examples of
this are C:\Program Files and C:\Windows. Certain sub
folders of these may be shared without any problems, but
others cannot.

What is the folder you're trying to share? Is it one that
you have created?
