Sharing a word screen online

Hi,

I wonder if there is any application where I can share and work with a word
document simultaneously with a remote computer?

Hi Lars,

There is no way to give shared access to a Word document, the way you would
to a database. This is because there is no locking mechanism to prevent two
copies of the Word program from trying to change the same part of the file
at the same time, like the record-locking mechanism of Access.

You could try using a remote-access program like VNC (www.realvnc.com). In
that case there would be only one copy of Word in use (on the computer that
runs the VNC server program), but both users could control the keyboard and
mouse. You would have to have some kind of "go ahead" signal so the two
users aren't fighting each other for control, but it should work.
