I have a .pst on the file server(not exchange just a win2k box with a
shared directory) and i want my second machine to be able to access
it...i know that both will not be able to access it at the same time..i
am not interested in commercial/third party apps...i just want the other
computer to be able to use that remote .pst in the primary window(aka in
the outlook today area and not as another folder)...how do i link the
second computer to the pst? I do not want to copy it..i want any
changes the second computer makes to be reflected in the pst so the
first computer when it comes up see the changes..:) Any questions let
me know..:)

May God Bless you and everything you touch.

My "foundation" verse:
Isaiah 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and
every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt
condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their
righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

You can point Outlook on both machines to use the same PST file, as long as
you don't have more than one session of Outlook using that file at any given
time.

Note however that Microsoft does not recommend/support using a PST file on a
network drive....it can lead to data corruption/loss.

hi, I was looking to solve same problem with my
computers, one desktop and one laptop I wanted to share
same outlook pst file between 2 computers, and yes it is
possible there is a program called OsaSync
http://www.vaita.com/index.asp at first I didn't think
much of it, but I did try and it works with outlook , 2
computers sharing the same pst file constantly in sync
automatically. I was so happy with the program so I did
promise to the tech support that I will let people know
about it, so here I am
if you have any questions I will be happy to answer.
thank you

John
