So, with a shared workbook (tools, share workbook), I have several people
working in the same worksheet. Now conflict resolution seems to work by
saying, oh, userA changed cell A18 and so did userB - whose change should I
accept?

Well, I'm HOPING there is some option somewhere to change this a bit. I
want both changes to be accepted, and for Excel to just push one of the
changes down into the next empty cell.

Is this possible??
hopeing,
Chris

Chris, I would be interested to know if there is a solution to this problem
also. When the workbook is shared by more than just 2-3 people it seems that
more often than not someone's work gets overwritten by another individual.
This is worse than having to wait until the other person is finished with
there entry before being able to get into the workbook to save your own
data. At least that way your data isn't lost without your even being aware.
I have seen this problem lots of times where someone overwrote my work and
some else overwrote that persons work. Then I went back in to re-enter my
data and got overwritten again!

There should be a better way as you point out. Maybe someone listening can
advise us.
