Shared PC won't accept User name/Password

I got 2 PCs and I want to connect them. Both have simple file sharing
disabled. Both have passwords and have all their drives shared. One lets the
other connect with no problems. But the other just wont accept the login
details of the first. Although they are correct. I tried changing the
password several times, even creating another account. Either way I still
can't map the other computer's drives. The one diffrence that I think may
have some relevance is that the first has several user accounts and displays
the welcome screen. The other has only the administrator's account and I've
used a trick I read about somewhere to avoid typing the password everytime it
starts - changed a setting in "Run -> control userpasswords2".
What is the problem?

Are the both using the same username and password? This troubleshooting may help,

Administrator receives "...is not accessible" erroris not accessible. You may not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access ...

Well no matter if the User Name and pass are the same or diffrent, its all
the same.
Here's what happens exactly:
I right-click My Computer and go to Map Network Drive. Then I write
"\\[target ip]\e$" and click Finish. Then a login prompt appears. I write the
user and password and click ok. The prompt appears again as if I got
something wrong. Only the username format changes to "[target ip]\name". When
I type the password again the prompt just appears again and nothing ever
happens.

Ok, these things don't have that nice "Edit your own post" option.
I did some testing. I checked the "Users must enter a user name and password
to use this computer." setting in "control userpasswords2". No positive
effect, only now from time to time it displays "The network path [bla-bla]
could not be found".

What's the system error if using net view \\remotepcipaddress?
