I cant get online from one of three pc, all the others work fine, network
works fine just cant get to the internet.
Not much info to go on, so I'll guess that all 3 PCs connect to the 'net via
a router. Check the router settings to see if it is blocking one PC from 'net
access - kinda common if the one that is blocked is wireless.
To check the router's setup params, use one of the PCs that has full 'net
access, then type the router's IPA (something like
http://192.168.1.1/ )
in that PC's browser, then log in and look around.
It could also be a DNS problem in the blocked PC. If that PC can access sites
on the 'net using IPAs but not using their names, E.g., if using an IPA of
http://18.7.22.83/ works from your browser but
www.mit.edu doesn't, that PC
has bad DNS settings; copy the DNS settings from a good PC to that bad PC.
