It will work best if you establish a DSN (Data Source Name) in your
Data Source management. You'll need to use ODBC drivers for dBase.
Also, WHEN YOU ESTABLISH THE LINK TABLE, be sure to select the correct
field or fields as your primary key. Do not attempt to do this
afterwards because it will not work.
I've been linking to .dbf's (Foxpro) and it's working fine, all except
a field that has a calculation stored in it inside the foxpro table.
I haven't been very descriptive here. If you have more questions, post
them here again.
Access is capable of linking to dBase without the use of a DSN.
