shaking screen and freezing up

I have 2 questions. First my screen shakes from side to side every once in awhile. What could that be? Second when I'm playing games from disks the computer will either freeze up and I have to reboot it or it will just shut down and restart all by itself.Any suggestions?
 
could it be your graphics card dying????
