SFC w/ XP SP2; MS KB # 900910 did not help

I am experiencing the symptoms describe in MS KB article 900910

I have adjusted the registry accordingly and the issue persists. What else
can I try?

I'm not entirely sure of what your problem is but here is a link to a very

Notice how it differs from the official Microsoft method. Post back if this

Unfortunately, the machine came with SP1 media.

Step #5 references HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\SourcePath - this does not exist in my registry. Do I
need to manually create it?
