Had an ocassion to use SFC (syntax:-scannow) & when finished I rebooted, here
is where the problem starts.
After the reboot,I could get past the startup. It keept rebooting,I could not
even go to "safe" mode .I finished up having toi do a COMPLETE reinstallation
of Windows & all other programs.
Is there a know fault with SFC??

I do not feel happy about trying it again?

AFAIK not a commonly reported problem. What type of Windows XP CD do you
have? How is it described on the face of the CD? What is your computer
make and model?

Hope this helps.
