Several viruses every day

Since the end of Sept. I have been receiving at the least 6 virus pop-ups. I
run AVG and heal viruses or move to virus vault. Then within 5 minutes I
start receiving the exact same virus pop-ups. Very frustrating..any
solutionsf?

What do the popups state? Do they refer to a virus in the
System_Volume_Information folder?

You get what you pay!! AVG is a free anti-virus software and I have never trusted anything that is free!! I strongly recommend people to get Symantec Antivirus software and ensure that it is set to automatic update so that it updates at least once a week or you could update it once a day!. Symantec is available very cheap at amazon or you could buy direct from symantec and download it for free for upto one year including any upgrades.

I use non Microsoft products wherever possible which requires no activation.

I use Netscape 7.2 as my default browser which has everything I need for my work.
