I use a Microsoft add-in for Outlook to back-up my mail, contacts etc. I
noticed that I have three .pst files on my laptop. I know that one of them
is my outlook, another is the back-up and called outlook backup.pst, the
last I am unsure about. I use WinXP and Outlook 2002.

The location of the files are: C:/Doc's and Settings/Alan/Local
Settings/Application Data/Microsoft This file is 59712KB in size and has
today's date
The file in questions is: C:/ Doc's and Settings/Guest/Local
Settings/Application Data/Microsoft this file is only 48KB and has a date of
9/2004.

Could I have attempted to create another profile, would this be the "GUEST"?
If I don't need it can I safely ger rid of it?

Thank you

Alan

Just open the PST to see if it contains anything you need. If not, delete
it.

Thank you, makes sense.
