I had outlook in MS 2003. I have a new computer w/ Vista. I have not been
able to get MS mail to work, recognize servers or anything. I chated w/
Norton and uninstalled program. Still can not get e mail to work or set up.
Any help is appreciated.
What do you mean by MS mail? If it's Windows Mail, and you've uninstalled
a Norton antivirus program, you often need to download and run this cleanup
program to take care of what the uninstall left behind:

You sometimes even need to remove your email account under Windows Mail,
then restart Windows Mail, then add the account again. Start here to look
for
instructions on how to add your account:

Outlook 2003 runs well under Vista, so if you still have the CDs to install
it and an unused license for it, you may want to install it under Vista.
If this solves your problem, you may want a replacement antivirus program
that doesn't cause problems in Windows Mail. I recommend either avast!
or AVG, either one with a custom install that tells it to leave out the part
that scans email:
