setting up user privaliges

Hi,
I connected 2 computers with a serial, null modem
cable,the host computer lets you set up users. The user I
set up, does keep the password I give it. XP defaults to
some 13 digit password, which I don't know. What is this,
and can I fix it without knowing the password?

XP always displays a fixed number of asterisks for a password,
regardless of the password's actual length. Try connecting. It
should work.
