Setting up the hotmail mail service for Microsoft Outlook

How can I set up the mail service in Microsoft Outlook (2007) for a hotmail
account so that I can use it to send and/or recieve messages? Some help will
be higly appreiated.

Unless you have either a paid Hotmail account, or a rather older,
grandfathered free Hotmail account, you can't do this.

The newer free Hotmail accounts don't support this kind of access, and by
"newer", I mean probably less than four years old.

If you have a paid account, the Hotmail help pages do detail it.

You could consider gmail as an alternative.
