Is there a util that will setup the *path* in WinXP to include all dir's
beneath a parent dir equivalent to, say, */AD /S* for the DIR command?

RJH Extensions gives you a right-click "Command Prompt" option which you can
use in any directory, then use the normal DOS command and pipe the result to
a text file in the parent directory, e.g. dir /ad /s > dir.txt

(Seven out of ten people do not know that you can get a dos screen in xp)
