Hello,

I've been a Hotmail user since MS purchased it. I've also been using
Outlook and OE to access Hotmail, purchasing Hotmail Plus when the free
service was discontinued.

I've now talked my mother into purchasing Hotmail Plus with the intention
of setting up Outlook to be the client she uses to send/receive email.

We would like to configure Outlook to startup in the Hotmail Inbox instead
of the inbox within the PST file we use for saving messages. Having
Outlook start up in the PST inbox and having to switch to the Hotmail inbox
confuses her when I am trying to make this as simple as possible for her..

How do I do this?

Thanks
Bryan

Nevermind.,.. I figured this out.. For Outlook 2002 & 2003:

1) Go to Tools/Options
2) Choose the "Other" tab
3) Choose "Advanced Options"
4) Change the "Startup in this folder" setting..

Took me several attemps at researching this to finally locate it..

Also, finding a way to provide feedback is a Microsoft induced wild
goose chase.. Start with Help/Customer Feedback options and count how
many links and steps you have to take to actually find the
(e-mail address removed) email address and how long it takes you to get to
it.. Looks like this should be substantially easier *IF* Microsoft was
actually interested in cusstomer feedback about it's products.. I'm
sure the product group (translated to mean "marketing moro..eh.. folks")
has influenced this wonderful decision to make it so hard to provide
feedback.. Sorry for ranting.. Used to love MS products but find them
almost equally annoying to use as they are helpful lately...
